Greengate Hotel- Gordon
The Greengate Hotel has held its place along the pacific highway in Gordon for the past 175 years. Through out those years it has been constantly converted. However they have chosen to keep the traditional brick exterior of a ‘pub’. Much of the brick exterior has been used as decorations to the building, from corners, doorway arches, balconies, stairways etc. All of which add to the aesthetic appeal of the building however had no structural purpose. These additions are what makes the pub more appealing to the modern eye.
